FAQs
Is this course compliant with international school standards?
Yes. Our curriculum is aligned with the UK Department for Education (DfE) statutory guidance, Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE). It also meets the rigorous safeguarding requirements set by international bodies such as COBIS, BSME, and the Council of International Schools (CIS).
How does the "Live Online" session work?
Our Live Online training is delivered via a secure virtual classroom (Zoom). It is not a pre-recorded webinar. It is a fully interactive, real-time session led by an expert trainer where you can ask questions, participate in breakout room exercises, and network with other professionals globally.
What is the difference between this and a basic Safeguarding course?
Basic (Level 1 or 2) training is for all staff to recognise signs of abuse. This DSL (Level 3/Senior) course is specifically for those in leadership. It focuses on managing disclosures, handling allegations against staff, safer recruitment, and the strategic oversight of an organisation’s safety culture.
Can I book this for my entire Senior Leadership Team?
Yes. We offer bespoke "In-House" sessions for schools and organisations. If you have Ten or more staff members needing the DSL qualification, we can arrange a private session (Online or Face-to-Face)
What are the technical requirements for the online version?
You will need a stable internet connection, a microphone, and a webcam. As this is a professional certification, we require all participants to have their cameras on during the session to ensure active engagement and to meet accreditation requirements.
