FAQs
How will this help me with my daily workload?
The course focuses on "Smart Data." Instead of spending hours looking at spreadsheets, you will learn how to quickly pull the 3 most important metrics from MAP or CAT4 reports to group your students and plan your differentiation in half the time.
Does this apply to all subjects, even PE or Art?
Yes. While the data usually comes from core subjects, the CAT4 profile (Verbal, Quantitative, Non-Verbal, Spatial) tells you how a child processes information. We show you how to apply these "learning preferences" to any subject to improve student engagement.
Do I need to be a "math person" to take this course?
Not at all. This course is for educators, not statisticians. We focus on the interpretation of the reports provided by GL and MAP, using visual aids and clear strategies that any teacher can apply immediately.
How does this help with Parent-Teacher Meetings?
We provide you with a framework to explain data to parents in a way that is encouraging and clear, moving the conversation from "grades" to "growth and potential."
